A rather experimental track, which has a feeling of a machinery running out of control. This one is another “ipads only” piece, but this time there´s two layers; the basic improvisation and then the overdubs. The track has somehow menacing, even dangerous mood and is probably a good example of the influence of the darker times in the world around us.
There´s some strange speech samples of Jyrki and some a bit Terry Riley-influenced patterns. Jyrki´s favorite ipad synth is Waldorf Nave and many of the stranger sounds here are the Nave in action.

A wonderful soundscape to visualise & meditate on a better New Year, & how music can truly help to plan it.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
