In the summer of 2009 we played a successful concert in the hall of the Sibelius Museum, Turku. We shared the stage with E-musikgruppe LuxOhr and there was also a lecture/DJ-set by Jukka Mikkola, the “godfather” of finnish ambient music scene...
His nationwide YLE-radioshow “Avaruusromua” has been a beacon of ambient sounds in Finland. Nemesis has a lot to thank him for, as indeed many other electronic musicians in Finland and elsewhere as well.
This track was in the set that night and had its recording been more successful, it would surely had been included on the album “Xenopus”. The album was released in 2012 and had several tracks worked from the recordings of that gig.
This one didn´t work perfectly on the night, but luckily we had recorded the rehearsals the day before and this version is from that particular session. So it is a live recording, but this time without any audience. The speech part is synthesized with a computer and all the sequence programming is by Joni. Ami and Jyrki provide the leads and effect sounds.

A wonderful soundscape to visualise & meditate on a better New Year, & how music can truly help to plan it.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
