We still did some faster material and this one is a nod to the 70´s flavored sequencing in the true Berlin School tradition. This one was actually one of our best improvisations in that style and the general feeling is positively cold and menacing.
There´s a lot going on and that is a good example that the newer Nemesis material could still occasionally reach to that early, psychedelic domain of “Cyberiad” of 1998. The driving sequencer work is actually not done with an analog synth at all… it is a sound Ami created with his Korg TR 61 arpeggiator. There´s a lot of nice industrial textures by Joni and some nice analog lead work by Jyrki.

A wonderful soundscape to visualise & meditate on a better New Year, & how music can truly help to plan it.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
