This “liquid” sounding improvisation was recorded in Räyrinki, Kaustinen in the winter of 2008. It was a rare chance for us to get out of the usual surroundings and move to the countryside for a weekend. It was great to have a house for just the three of us and a carful of synthesizers.
A very productive 32 hours resulted in a double album´s worth of good material and there is still plans to remix some of that into a special album someday. It was a rather ideal format for improvisations and something we really have never managed to fully replicate so far. The material recorded has rather austere and spacey feeling and this short piece is a good representative for that spirit.

A wonderful soundscape to visualise & meditate on a better New Year, & how music can truly help to plan it.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
