A rare example of the humorous side of Nemesis, which hasn´t been audible to the public too often. There´s a lot of musical jokes in the archives and the typical session day for us was mostly very funny and full of occasional laughter, but it was kept in the dark as far as the actual releases were concerned.
Another one that has its structure and rhythms programmed by Joni at home, but elaborated as a band. It soon mutated into slightly Arabic scales and has a relentless beat, that sounded simultaneously dark and funny. Some vocoded names of stellar constellations were added as kraftwerkian flavor. Ami also plays an unusual guitar solo with down-tuned acoustic guitar. The real reason for the name of the track is better kept secret…
honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
