A third part of a 4 -part suite, featuring uptempo sequencer work. Ami had just bought a Roland MC202 microcomposer unit and Jyrki had got SIEL DX700, the first poly synth in Nemesis arsenal.
Early 1988 was a time when we started to use quite a bit of those Berlin School styled sequencer lines with delay. Previously we had to do those effects by copying the basic bass lines from one track to another, but to slightly different place... Binson Echorec was a great help to get around that, but it had very limited maximum delay time, so the tempos were often quite high for that reason.
Recording was simple, because we had just a Fostex X.15 cassette multitracker. Basically we normally made a backing to two tracks in stereo and the two remaining ones were used for overdubs. Not many options to "fix it in the mix"... probably the main reason why we were extremely productive in those years.
