We still did some material that was clearly techno-flavoured is this is one of those from 2002. Joni is probably not on this one as he was very busy with other things at the time. We decided to give a rest to the sampled drum sounds here for a change and fire up the old Roland TR808, which provides the soft, but steady pulse here. Roland MC 202 is the main sequencer here and this track is probably multitrack recording as there seems to be many simultaneous lines going on with certain instruments. Jyrki plays a nice melody in the end with his trusty Korg M1.
This track has probably been projected for an album, but fell under the radar at one point or another. But quite nice and driving piece of old school electronica with nemesis twist.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
